The true value of an interior is revealed not on the day it is installed, but years later.

On the first day, almost any project can look beautiful. The difference appears later, and it is this difference that separates work created for decades, even for generations, from work made for a single season. This is worth discussing before we speak about cost.

There is a case in our practice that speaks for itself. A client was offered a staircase at almost half the price, and the choice was made in favour of cost. Several years later, we saw the result: simplified geometry instead of smooth curved lines, and a craftsman’s loose interpretation instead of the original bespoke carving. The concept and the execution had parted ways, and nothing could be changed. That result remains with the owner every day, in a home that was intended to be a source of pride.

"HALF THE PRICE"

almost always means a service life many times shorter.

A lower price is usually the result of very specific choices:

• Complex joinery is simplified for the sake of speed and cost. Fine milling and bespoke details are sacrificed, leaving only an approximation of the original idea.
• Lower-grade materials are used: budget alternatives replace Italian lacquers and paints. This is where the price difference comes from, though it may not be visible at first.
• Instead of solid wood and high-quality veneer, laminated chipboard is often used. After just a couple of years, fixings can begin to loosen, edges reveal their low quality, and the board itself releases formaldehyde resins, which have no place in a home where people live and breathe.
• The consequences appear later: cracks and sinking finishes at the joints, ripples on the surface, hardware that has lost its smoothness, and warped door edges.

There is another side as well. Many workshops, both Russian and foreign, operate like a pyramid: they accept an order for almost any amount and then carry it out using the funds of the next client. Deadlines stretch for months, sometimes years. Savings are made everywhere: in materials and finishes, in simplified technologies, in low-skilled labour whose wages are delayed for long periods, and in work carried out outside proper tax compliance.

In such a system, every client risks one day becoming the last. We know of cases where only unfinished components were delivered to a client and the project was abandoned because the workshop ceased to exist. We do not take on the completion of someone else’s unfinished work; we can only create the project anew, from a clean slate and as it should be done.

We are also approached by those who have already been burned. After paying a joinery workshop, they have waited more than a year without receiving a project, samples, or finished furniture. They now want to recover their funds and entrust the order to us, coming to us after losing time, money and peace of mind where they had hoped to save.

The true price of such savings is the loss of money, peace of mind
and, most importantly, precious years of one’s own life.

The miser pays twice. The foolish pay three times.

• Faithful execution of the concept, and its development. Our engineering and design bureau does more than reproduce a visualisation; it reveals its full potential. The finished piece becomes more expressive and refined than originally imagined. We do not simplify the project for our own convenience; we make it better.
• Systematic project management. The entire path, from the first sketch to final installation, is managed as one clear process. Timelines, stages, approvals and quality control remain in one set of hands. You can see the status of the work at any moment, and nothing is lost between contractors because there is a single executor.
• Materials and finishes of the highest class. Italian lacquers and paints, impeccable polishing, natural wood and veneer. The surface retains its smoothness and depth for many years, without cracks, sinking, ripples or clouding.
• Hardware worthy of the piece. Mechanisms that remain smooth and quiet throughout their service life. Doors and drawers work flawlessly even a decade later.
• Impeccable adherence to technology. Every stage is carried out according to the rules, with no shortcuts for the sake of deadlines. It is broken technology that later turns into defects; we do not omit a single stage.
• A full cycle and our own production capacity. A 5,000 m² production facility in Moscow equipped with European machinery, our own engineering and design bureau, a team of highly qualified specialists, our own installation crews and delivery service. This allows us to complete the most complex and large-scale projects within proper timelines.
• The entire interior in one company. Doors, kitchens, wardrobes, staircases and panels, all in one style and quality. The space gains integrity because it is created by one factory, not by many contractors.

Warped door edges. One client’s door edges warped over time as a result of broken technology. We made new doors and updated all the furniture in the apartment. That is how our cooperation began: for this client and their family, we have since created several interiors for apartments and houses.

French panels in different shades. A well-known designer invited us to remake a study. The French panels had arrived in different shades and had already been installed. We repainted everything on site and brought it into perfect unity. We were then entrusted with the interior of the neighbouring apartment, larger and more complex, in a classical style with carving and painting. Since then, together we have created several highly complex homes, and we remain friends.

The ability to correct someone else’s work is the best proof of mastery. But the highest art is to make correction unnecessary.

Behind every piece are people. Materials and technologies can be listed. But behind every piece are people: those who conceived it, designed it, made it with their hands, installed it and managed the project. The mood, thoughts and soul with which an object is born remain within it forever.

Think of icons. To make them cheaper, they are printed on cardboard. But a true icon is painted on natural wood, which absorbs everything, with natural pigments and by the hand of a believing master who puts his soul into it. Everyone feels the difference, even if they cannot explain it.

The same is true of an interior. Wood is alive; it absorbs the hands and the mood of those who work with it. A piece created with kindness and love keeps that warmth for many years. A piece made with indifference and ill will brings something entirely different into the home, and that is felt too.

After such a visit, price comparisons appear in a different light.

We stay with you after the project is handed over. The official warranty is three years. But our support does not end there: we come even after ten years and later, carrying out small requests at no additional charge. For us, the work does not end with the acceptance certificate.

Stages of work. Your design project or ours → estimate → approval of engineering documentation and samples → production and turnkey installation. Samples of materials and finishes are provided in advance, so you see the future result before work begins. Our price includes every stage from project to installation, including minor project adjustments.
